Apollo is an elderly denizen who has invested in the real estate business for many years and should be very wealthy, if not for his wasteful spending habits. He squanders whatever money he makes just as fast as the money comes in, mostly on his granddaughter, and on smoking. However, he makes sure that he doesn’t go as far as incurring debts or not always having something to fall back on in case things go awry. He owns several blocks of apartments across the country and he personally goes to each one to collect his rent each year. Apollo lives a peaceful, quiet life in the capital and can always be found in his balcony smoking.
