Marlon is a curious and passionate young woman with a deep interest in the world of science. One day, while lost in thought, Marlon begins to wonder if life could be created in the same way she mixes her chemicals - a thought that fills her with excitement and wonder.

In her eagerness to experiment, Marlon accidentally adds bone powder to a volatile mixture, causing a massive explosion that covers her and changes her eye color to a vibrant pink. However, the explosion also brings forth a being of viscous consistency, who Marlon names Eiko.
